I am thrilled to say I had my first International solo exhibition, i Japan.
It was in the Ishagimi museum of aart in Iwate town in Northern Japan
There were 18 works in total , beautifully framed, curated and hung by the gallery
I was very honoured to go to Japan to see the exhibition installed in the gallery with the help of cultureireland.ie
it’s always a leap of faith to send work somewhere and trust them to frame and hang it , but I was so delighted with the result.
I was on a train in Osaka when the gallery sent me the images and I was beyond happy with the framing and the way the work was hung.Big thanks to all involved.

I have been exhibiting since I left NCAD many years ago. My credits include several solo exhibitions, the Royal Academy London summer show, the RUA and the RHA.
The solo exhibitions were in the much missed Original Print Gallery in Temple Bar and the DLR Mill Theatre space.

Oct 2025 NEWS
I am having a solo show in the Ishagami Museum of Art, in IWATE, in Japan. Iam very honoured and excited to have an exhibition there, opening on 28 February and look forward to giving a workshop there on March 6th. The show is titled Between Land and Sky, and celebrates the wild bogland landscape of ireland. It will run until early April.
The exhibition will feature new work with variable edition etching and drypoint prints, printed on Hannemuhle paper, made here in @blackchurchprint in Dublin.

in AUGUST 2025 I exhibited in The DLR Mill Theatre Dundrum, with fellow artist Bairbre Murray. The show was calledDOUBLE EDGED. In it we explored landscape in our respective media.
We visually explored that feeling you get when you are completely alone in a wild area - there is joy in its beauty, but also that frisson of fear in your complete isolation, at the mercy of elements both natural and other.
This exhibition ran until September 13th 2025
